Dodge unveiled the new Hornet and I am sure most car fans can see the resemblance to the Alfa Romeo Tonale. The blatant rebadge reeks of 80/90s General Motor rebadges and is a lazy product from Dodge. Sure it has a new hood and new light graphics, but the base Tonale lights (in Europe) are identical to the ones in the Hornet.
Anyways, the day after the Hornet reveal, Dodge unveiled the Charger Daytona SRT Concept and I really liked what I saw. Yes it might be a bit top heavy design wise due to the thicker roof design, but overall I really like it. So of course the first thing that came to my mind, why not use the concept front on the Hornet. Well that was easier said than done since donors were few and far between. Thankfully I found what I needed and decided to stick the front onto the Hornet. While I think it turned out pretty good, I don't expect Dodge to use such a front on the Hornet, would be nice and make the car more unique but looks like money talks at Stellantis.
On a side note and for anyone from Instagram, here is a comparison of the C pillar design, which is different to the Tonale.
