And now back to our regularly scheduled program. An older render from a while back. I really like the angle, so decided to make a quick GSi version.

Quick Opel render, a small MPV based off the Corsa. Added some Astra door handle and mirror and a new bumper. Lights are also from the Astra.

A quick one, Buick Envision rebadged as an Opel. Larger and without watermarks on my Patreon.

There were rumours of a GSi version of the Astra but nothing really materialized. So I decided to make one. Rather than use the standard car, I also gave it a facelift, since if Opel were to make a GSi, might as well spend some money on a facelift.

Here is a version without the facelift. The Isignia GSi bumper works well on the Astra, I am sure any GSi model would have used a different bumper design but perhaps that is a photoshop for another time.

So in 2019, Opel released the facelifted Astra K and for me, I felt the facelift was a bit of a letdown. The Insignia for example received a much more substantial facelift to the front versus the outgoing model and I thought, why didn't the Astra get a new face as well?

So I suspect the PSA merger killed off any substantial facelift, with the new company deciding to rather invest in the new model on the EMP2 platform rather than adding new lights grill, etc. Sure there was a new bumper and a new grill insert, but otherwise it looked like the same car.

So in the render, I decided to give the car a new front, basically using the same design as the new Insignia. I tried to keep the changes as little as possible with regards to the hood as to save costs.

Quick idea for a Corsa facelift. No idea how extensive the facelift will be. Will Opel go the route of the Grandland and Crossland facelifts? Or will use the new front/grill similar to the new Astra and Mokka? Once prototypes start testing, we will know. I wanted to remove the side crease but I don't think Opel would go that far.

Not many press photos out there, but used the video for a base. The picture is a bit darker and lacks some details but good enough for now. 

I don't expect a cabrio, only a wagon, render can be found here, but if cabrios still sold relatively well, perhaps we'd see such a model.

While no prototypes have been caught yet as of this post, I do believe Opel said a wagon is coming, so I whipped one up quickly. I might make a rear view, but haven't decided yet what photo to use.

My design is influenced by the new 308 SW, so longer wheelbase, and longer rear bumper. I used the same C pillar design but kept the original Astra D pillar design. I am sure it will be different so once test cars appear, I will try to update the post with a more closer design.

Just a quick front swap, new EV front on an older Astra F. There aren't many Astra F press photos in yellow, so my choice was limited. Nothing serious, just for fun,
