Peugeot 2008 Coupe

Peugeot 2008 Coupe

Quick render of the new 2008 as a 2 door suv. Just playing around with how it would look and I liked the look and angle of the photo. With more official photos appearing, might make more renders of the new 2008. Enjoy.

Volkswagen Golf 8 Cabrio

Volkswagen Golf 8 Cabrio

Quick Golf 8 cabrio render. Unlikely to happen but in another world where cabrios still sell, perhaps this would be a model VW would offer. Didn't want to change the car too much, so kept the same design. Went for a white front window frame to set it apart. Enjoy.

Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach Re-design

Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 Maybach

Quick re-design of the GLS Maybach which looks a bit tacky and not very luxurious on the outside. The car feels like a Mercedes GLS in a lot of makeup and nothing special. So did some updating using the concept's parts. New bumper and side skirt, black fenders and chrome highlights. The window pillars are all now chrome and I added the concept's door handles and side piece. I changed the rims to the concept's since again they look a lot better.

I played around with adding the chrome strips on the hood and side, but that didn't look that great, so I did not keep them. Enjoy.

Ferrari Roma convertible 3/4 view

Ferrari Roma convertible

It was a bit hard to find any good donors, Ferrari didn't release many press photos and this was the only 3/4 view. I didn't want to use any of the current Ferrari roadsters or cabrios, and ended up using the F-type again as a donor. No red colour this time around, stuck to the silver/grey.

Will be interesting if Ferrari decides to make a convertible, it would be make sense but I guess it depends if the car was designed with a convertible in mind during development.

Jaguar XJ Coupe (X351)

Jaguar XJ Coupe (X351)

A large XJ based coupe, to continue from the X350 XJ coupe I made earlier. In this new model, the coupe shares the platform and wheelbase with the sedan, with only the rear overhang shortened. The design reminds me a bit of a Lexus but I tried modelling it off the Mercedes S-Class coupe. I had originally planned on doing a sports version, XJR coupe, but could not find any good donors for parts. Enjoy.

I was going to wait for more angles, but this will do for now. I don't like making profile renders, feels lazy but wanted to see how the Roma would look like as a convertible/cabrio. While I doubt a drop top will be made, it would look quite amazing and sexy. I will try to make another render using the main 3/4 front view but it will take longer for sure. Enjoy.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Hatchback

This can also be a Brera with a Giulia front, either way, a large Alfa hatchback with the Giulia front end on it. Was planning on making more changes to this but decided against that for now. That might change in the future and if I do update it, I will post a new render up. I think the Giulia front works well on the Brera body and does match quite well. Enjoy.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class Cabrio

Mercedes-Benz A-Class Cabrio

Quick render of a rear view of an A-Class cabrio with closed roof. In order to save on trunk space, the roof doesn't fold into the body but stays on top of the rear trunk. Like the older cabrios or the Mini Cabrio for example. Enjoy.

BMW X8 M

BMW X8 M

The original X7 M project started out as a standard X8 render but slowly turned into a X8 M and X7 M. Again X3 M and M8 front bumper elements, and a new custom top. Really like this turned out. This is probably unlikely to look like the real X8 but it gives an idea of how a large coupe SUV could look like. Enjoy.

BMW X7 M

BMW X7 M

I've been working on this for a while now, on and off for the past few weeks. Bumper is a mix of X3 and M8. Overall I am quite pleased with how this turned out. Shame no X7 M will be made but I am sure BMW were probably throwing the idea around at Munich.
